to Northern California is complete without a stroll among these
ancient treasures. When
our time among the redwoods comes to an end, we still have Alcatraz
to look forward to! We head back over the Golden Gate Bridge
to the wild and wonderful Fisherman's Wharf, the starting-point
for the Alcatraz portion of the tour. The Alcatraz tour begins
with a ferry ride to Alcatraz Island. Once on the island,
the tour of this famous prison includes fascinating stories from
your guides about some of the worst criminals in U.S. History, and
the famous escape from Alcatraz. At the conclusion of this
tour, a ferry guide brings you back to Fisherman's Wharf.
